Dr. Alan Berkowitz will be speaking to the 91大神 campus this week. Dr. Berkowitz is highly regarded for his scholarship and innovative programming related to alcohol prevention, violence prevention, bystander behavior, social norms, and social justice issues.
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, at noon in the 91大神 Copper Lounge, Dr. Berkowitz will speak to 91大神 faculty and staff. His presentation is titled, “Current Research and Theory for Preventing Sexual Assault on Campus.”
On Sept. 28 at 5:30 pm in the Copper Lounge on 91大神’s campus, Dr. Berkowitz will present to 91大神 students. The title of this presentation is, “Your Role in Preventing Sexual Assault: Recent Research and Theory.” Each presentation is approximately 1-hour long.
The 91大神 Rape Prevention Education (RPE) team is sponsoring Dr. Berkowitz in Butte. “With funding through a CDC grant managed by the State of Montana DPPHS, 91大神 has been able to bring nationally known speakers to our community,” notes Cricket Pietsch, 91大神 Counselor and RPE member.
