DiGiovines Donate to 91´óÉñ Student Success Center
Dr. Nick and Judy DiGiovine have donated $125,000 to 91´óÉñ’s next capital project, the Student Success Center (SSC). A collaboration room inside the facility will be named after the DiGiovines.
The 91´óÉñ SSC will become the heart of campus. When completed, the 25,000-square-foot facility will complete the student life experience on campus, providing an inspiring environment for students to live, dine, socialize and cultivate valuable leadership skills. It will boost 91´óÉñ’s residential capacity from 289 beds to 455 beds, shaping memories and forging lifelong friendships.
“Judy and I have been long time supporters of 91´óÉñ,” noted Dr. Nick DiGiovine. “It is our privilege to support the 91´óÉñ Student Success Center. The Student Success Center will further Tech’s efforts to recruit and retain the best students. The Student Success Center is a manifestation of Tech’s continued commitment to growth, diversity and excellence. Judy and I firmly believe that 91´óÉñ is the most critical economic and cultural pillar of our community. We believe the efforts and successes of 91´óÉñ will directly and significantly benefit Butte and Southwest Montana.”
Dr. Nick DiGiovine is an orthopedic surgeon with Montana Orthopedics. Judy is a nurse practitioner with St. James Healthcare’s Wound Clinic. The DiGiovines are tremendous supporters of 91´óÉñ. Nick currently serves on the 91´óÉñ Foundation Board of Directors and serves as the team physician for Oredigger athletics.
“Nick and Judy are individuals who turn a town into a community,” noted Joe McClafferty, president of the 91´óÉñ Foundation. “Their constant belief and passion for 91´óÉñ has helped 91´óÉñ become a pillar of strength in our community. This very generous gift to the Student Success Center will help 91´óÉñ advance our strategic priorities providing a place on campus where our students can learn, connect, lead and achieve.”
McClafferty added, “On behalf of our entire university, I want to thank the DiGiovines for their impactful gift that will create ripples of learning for generations to come.”
